June is Cancer Survivor Month, and the first Sunday of June is recognized as National Cancer Survivors Day. But honestly, this note is not really for the people who have had cancer. It is for the people standing beside them. For the husbands watching their wives try to smile through hot flashes, insomnia, and exhaustion after treatment.
